UPCOMING EVENTS:

Architecture of Audio is usually djing regularly, however we are currently collaborating with eminent Cape Verdean visual artist Mito Elias on an audio-visual art project for the West region arts precinct, as well as filming freelance music videos for artist clients.

After recently heading overseas mid-year to meet up with collaborative artists in residency, also planning a European sojourn in 2025 and again in 2026.

RECENT COLLABORATION:

Architecture of Audio recently collaborated with electro-acoustic musician, Dr Melanie Chilianis. Melanie is a flute player and composer. Her music and sonic works have been performed in Australia, Italy and the USA and many of her pieces have been released through Move Records (Australia). Cat and Melanie have created new audio & video work based on improv and studio sessions, and recently created a large-scale projection audio-visual work for Creative Brimbank which exhibited during 2023.

‘Haptic Drift’ - Remixed 3D Lidar animation and music by Cat Lew

A Moog Mother 32 synthesizer, OTO Machines Bam Reverb, Deluge Synthstrom synthesizer, sampler and sequencer were used to produce this audio piece.

This work is part of a submission for City of Melbourne’s new annual technology, innovation and arts festival. Additional audio-visual works will be completed through to 2025.
